Starożytne Chiny około 3000 lat temu...era Dynastii Yin..miejsce akcji naszego anime... W tej opowieści fantasy stykają się dwa światy- królestwo śmiertleników zwane Nidenkai oraz królestwo bogów- Senninkai. Oddziaływują one na siebie w różny sposób... Pewnego dnia nad sprawującym władzę w Nidenkai, imperatorem Chou Ou przejmuje kontrolę youkai sennin o imieniu Dakki. Zyskuje w ten sposób całkowitą kontrolę nad Państwem Środka (Dynastią). Zło zaczyna panoszyć się po świecie ludzi...Na jego rozwój nie mogą pozwolić bogowie. Rozpoczyna się projekt Houshin Engi (polowanie na dusze) nadzorowany przez władcę góry Konron-shan -Genshintenson'a. Do jego realizacji zostaje wyznaczony młody doushi-Taikoubou. Teoretycznie jego zadanie będzie polegać na wyłapywaniu złych czarodziejów i odsyłaniu ich dusz do Houshin Dai. Jednak prawdziwy cel misji ma całkiem inne oblicze...W całej "grze" chodzi o zyskanie kontroli nad światem przez Stowarzyszenie Kun-Lun i obalenie Dynastii Yin...
English version:
Ancient China about 3000 years ago... The Yin Dynasty era.. the scene of our anime series. In this fantasy story two worlds contact – kingdom of mortals, called Nidenkai and kingdom of gods – Senninkai. They effect on each other in many different ways... One day, the Nidenkai imperator Chou Ou becomes possessed by youkai sennin named Dakki. This way, she gains absolute control over the China and Dynasty. Evil starts to spread in the human world. Gods can't let this happen. The Houshin Engi ( Soul Hunt ) project, controlled by the ruler of the Konron Mt. - Genshintenson, is set into motion. A young doushi, Taikobou, is nominated to carry out this plan. Theoretically, his mission will be basically to seize evil sorcerers and to send their souls to Houshin Dai. However, the real goal of the mission is totally about something different... This „game” is about gaining control over the world by the Kun-Lun Association and overthrowing the Yin Dynasty... .
